Grieving

My Beautiful Boy, James Timothy French passed on to heaven on February 19, 2010.

I am grieving.

My Aunti gave me a silver heart necklace with a hole in it with this poem:

Since Heaven has become your home I sometimes feel I'm so alone; and though we now are far apart you hold a big piece of my heart. I never knew how much I'd grieve when it was time for you to leave, or just how much my heart would ache from that one fragment you would take. God lets this tender hole remain reminding me we'll meet again, and one day all the pain will cease when He restores this missing piece.

He'll turn to joy my every tear and when I wear this necklace near, it will become my special way to treasure our Reunion Day.

Monday

When someone calls you and tells you your son is doing things he shouldn't or he is hanging around someone that is doing things he shouldn't, what do you do?

Well, I could feel it's all my fault or I could focus on Jesus. I've had a few moments to feel sad and talk to my son. Now, I'm going to wait for my husband to come home, so we can talk.

I've been in so much pain lately with my leg, but the pain in my heart seems broken too, when your children choose to do things they shouldn't this may just hurt worse.

I love the song "Tammy's In Love", so sweet and smooth, I even remember watching the movie a long time ago. I love the part where she says if she was in his arms she would sing like a violen.

My heart sings so joyfully. Debbie Debbie is in love. Jesus knows what I'm dreaming of is my children to love you so, I wish they could just feel what I feel. Just like the song. I pray for the ripple effect to pour onto them.

I feel Jesus loves me, I want to be in His arms. Debbie Debbie is in love.

It Is Well with My Soul

When peace like a river attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot Thou hast taught me to say,
“It is well, it is well with my soul!”

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,

That Christ hath regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul.

For me, be it Christ, be it Christ hence to live;
If dark hours about me shall roll
No pang shall be mine, for in death as in life
Thou wilt whisper Thy peace to my soul.


Probably very few, like Spafford, are able to maintain their faith in the face of such devastating bereavement without spiritually faltering. The natural tendency of one confronted with such senseless tragedy would surely be to question, to doubt, to blame, to accuse God. Yet this hymn reveals a person who had been graced by God to mourn without bitterness, to sorrow without anger, to trust without resentment, to rest in the peace of Christ which surpasses every man's understanding (Phil. 4:6). The remarkable faith exhibited by the author of this hymn is the same precious faith allotted to all the believers (2 Peter 1:1) which enables them to believe steadfastly as the author did, that all things work together for good to those who love God and to those who are called according to His purpose (Rom. 8:28).

My life is for God's purpose, whatever happens to me, I must not be sad but trust and still have the peace He offers us. My friends, I love you, my family I love you. I want to believe, I want to love others, my lot has made me a stronger daughter.

Sorry I've been away

I apologise for being away for so long. I've stopped writing, first of all my eldest son had been very sick in the hospital, he is now doing well and feeling better. Thank You Lord. Secondly, I have been focused on my daughter Laura, getting her ready for college. She is now tucked away in her cute dorm room.

I must get back on track with my plants and with my house work. I am praying about trying to help my husband with college finances and medical bills we recently required. I'm going to start working at home with Malaleuca Products. I'm excited about it, the more I learn I will share with others.

It was very hard for me to let Laura Beth go. I have home schooled her for 13 years. My wish would be for her to stay at home and learn to cook, clean and study God's word, while learning a skill from home. It was very hard for me to let her go.

My third son James, will be a junior this school year, while playing football for Calvary Chapel High School. My prayer is for me to focus on his home school and to prepare him for College.

Thank you Lord for being there with me, please help me to let go of any hurt feelings I felt from Laura Beth and help my sadness to go away because she did not text me back when I said Good Night.
