Faith

Dear Lord, I pray for Faith today, Faith that James will feel better for his rugby tournament this weekend. Faith that our money situation will get better and we will be able to pay bills. May I have wisdom to use our money in the way you would want me to use it. Lord I do not want to hold any resentment or bitterness towards others, please take away any bitterness I may have. Give me strength to eat good food and no sugar! Help me to be a good wife, mother and homemaker for our family.
Be with James as he is sick, be with Laura Beth as she battles with her own issues, and be with John that he is the light for others at work. Lord I lift my heart to you for courage and understanding and wisdom. I thank you Lord for allowing me to be alive today. May I shine for you. May I bloom for my KING!

PS My verse for the week I'm going to type without looking.
Matthew 5:3-6 Blessed are the poor in spirit for they shall see the kingdom of heaven, Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be satisfied.

A Friend Came By

A Friend Came by today. She knew I needed someone to talk to, so she came over.

I felt loved by her.
I felt compassion by her.
I felt cared for by her.
In my heart I felt these things.
In my brain I feel I never want to be separated by her.

Thank you Colleen for coming by today.

Motherhood

Motherhood is not for whimps especially when you have teenagers. I'm tired it is the end of the day, but I'm so sad when I do not know who is telling the truth.

Tuesday

My thoughts turn towards my eldest son. My prayers are lifted up for God to bring him closer to Jesus. May the Lords protect him from harm, and keep him safe wherever he goes. Lord may he choose wisdom to be his girlfriend and not folly. Please give him peace as he sleeps tonight.

Verse of the week

I'm going to type it without looking first:
Daniel 2:20-21
Daniel answered and said: Blessed be the name of God forever and ever to whom belongs wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons, He removes kings and set ups kings, he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those with understanding.
Daniel 2:20-21

Now how did I do? I'm going to look now: I missed to whom belong wisdom and might not (belongs) and I missed He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. not (with Understanding)

Oh well, I'm close;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
One more time.

Daniel 2:20-21
Daniel answered and said; Blessed be the name of God forever and ever to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons, he removes kings and set ups kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.
Daniel 2:20-21

I'm excited to start off the New Year with memorizing this verse. Next week is matt 5:3-6

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.."Belssed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Monday Thoughts

Motherhood is not for whimps, that's what my mother always told me when I seem to be going through tough times with my children. Well, she is right. I wish my young adult children would obey our wishes. God will see this, and they will be His people and if they walk in all the way God commands them, it may be well with them. Just like my verse of Jeremiah 7:23.

I feel like when you try to bake a cake from scratch and it does turn out, you just say oh well that's okay. But with kids I can not just turn my head and say that is okay. I have to keep baking and trying as a Mother, even though I'm older and tired of it. I must try again, and pray and memorize my verses for wisdom.

My new verse of the week is this: Daniel 2:20-21 "Daniel answered and said: "Blessed be the name of God, forever and ever to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons he removes Kings and set up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. Daniel 2:20-21

God can change things for my family, I'm seeking wisdom with my new memorizing verses for the year 2010, and I'm very excited about it. It is wisdom and calming to know, God changes times and season, he removes kings and sets up kings.

My prayer is to bring my adult boys to Jesus and bring wisdom to their hearts not folly. Just like my Pastor said this past Sunday, when he was teaching us about the woman wisdom and the woman folly in Proverbs 9. Great sermon, thanks Pastor James.

Blessed be the name of God, forever and every to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. Daniel 2:20-21

Verse of the Week

Jeremiah 7:23
"But this commnad I give them: Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. And walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you." Jeremiah 7:23

Off to church, I will be back later to post ways to memorize.
